For a financial organization, DPA Supply Chain is looking for a

 

Senior Buyer ICT (Amsterdam)

You are going to work in the heart of the organization, the IT department. In this role, your responsibilities (among others) will consist of:

 

• advising and counselling the internal customer during the buying and tendering processes;
• assisting in defining business requirements;
• being accountable for the whole purchasing process until the deal has been signed and the contract can be handed over to the contract manager;
• making sure that compliancy with internal policies and external legislation is realised;
• contributing to further professionalising the vendor management organization.

Job Requirements

 

• You see things in a broader perspective and you are able to translate your vision into concrete plans and schedules;
• Accountable and persistent (also in the long term);
• Able to have impact and understand how to influence your stakeholders;
• You have a good sense of atmosphere and culture;
• Willing to be constantly up to date with the latest developments;
• You have consultative selling skills to be an excellent sparring partner for your clients and team members.

 

To be successful in this role, you have:

 

• A bachelor level degree;
• A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in a similar setting, being solely responsible for closing procurement deals of half a million and more;
• Excellent Dutch and English communication skills;
• Knowledge of large scale IT Infrastructure procurement projects is essential.

Salary and Benefits
